Dürer's
Small Passion, so called because of the size of the prints (about
the size of 3-by-5-inch note cards) first appeared as a book printed in
Nuremberg in 1511.
His
portrayal of Christ as the Man of Sorrows is at the same time
striking and moving. CHI's Passion images include Christ as the Man of
